Homework Assignments
KindergartenMath: Practice writing your numbers along with counting objects up to 20.
Language Arts: We are practicing our letters (Upper and lower case) along with the sound the letters make. Please read 10 minutes a day. Have your child draw pictures about the story that you read. |
1st GradeMath: Practice addition and
subtraction facts. We should also practice our shapes and how to cut them
into 2 equal parts (half) and 4 equal parts (fourths).
Language Arts: Words/Phrases are coming home on index cards for your child to study what the words/phrases are. We are practicing them in the classroom. Please read 20 minutes a day and write the main idea of what you just read in your Reading Notebook. You can be creative and draw pictures after writing 2 -5 sentences. Also remember your characters, setting, and what you think the author's reason for writing this story is. |
